My Journey to Massage & Bodywork I began my post secondary education as a philosophy major at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. I was fascinated by philosophers such as Carol Christ, Jean Paul Sartre, and Aristotle. Philosophy required that I explore my own thoughts and ideas as well as those who have shaped our world. I found a sense of wonder in learning from other people who look at the world in different ways. My love of learning was reaffirmed in college and inspired me to find a profession where I was challenged and motivated to continue my exploration.
After completing my Bachelor's degree, I worked in the sales field for 4 years. Although I enjoyed many aspects of sales, I felt called to do something within the healing field. With the support of my family and friends, I decided to go back to school and attend the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts in Hudson, WI. I was so fortunate to meet people who share the same love that I have for learning and healing. Bodywork and philosophy share many things. They share
a love for questions and a love for wisdom. I have found a sense of peace in healing. My clients are true teachers and
it is an honor to learn with them.
